Join Mississippi MOVE on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, for the annual "Sleepout to Help the Homeless", a community-driven event dedicated to raising awareness, gathering resources, and advocating for policies that benefit our unhoused neighbors. This impactful event will take place at Pittman Park (825 W Capitol St, Jackson, MS 39203), beginning with a press conference at 5 PM and concluding the next morning at 6 AM.
Why This Event Matters
Pittman Park, formerly Poindexter Park, serves as a gathering place for many unhoused individuals in Jackson. By coming together in this space, we hope to foster understanding, create meaningful dialogue, and make a tangible impact. Funds raised will directly support Mississippi MOVE’s homeless advocacy work, and all donated items will be distributed to individuals in need.
